Elden Ring – Messmer’s terrible fate

Messmer was one of Elden Ring’s best kept secrets, written before the game was even developed and only revealed when the DLC finally released. While FromSoftware had their own reasons for keeping him hidden in a meta sense, apparently Marika did too, in the actual background of the game’s story.
