Someone got their hands on a Switch 2 and is making the very intelligent decision to share unboxing videos on YouTube.

They cannot actually use it at all until June 5 because it needs an update to function so their entire risk is essentially pointless. Another person shared with me that they have a Nintendo Switch 2 as well. I have no permission to post pics but can share that when they try to boot a Switch 1 game, a message prompts “Please connect to the internet and update your system.”

Needs update to boot a game. Switch 2 day one patch allegedly needed for backwards compatibility. Not looking good, but as long as Switch 2 games at launch come with the necessary firmware, there is an offline workaround. High time we get our hands on this thing.
