The PS5 Pro does deliver on what it promises, namely better image quality at 4k resolutions running at 60 FPS. But right now the differences between what we got on the base PS5 and this are minor. That gap will enlarge over time, but for the moment the limited value proposition, combined with the steep price tag and the missing disc drive make the PS5 Pro feel like a ‘wait and see’ sort of purchase, rather than something you should be rushing out to grab right now.
