Forza Horizon 5 Hates EVs (Xpeng P7 A-Class)
Apart from the drift transmission which broke cars, EVs in Forza Horizon 5 don’t usually perform well because not only the PI overrates their performance but also a lack of adjustable horsepower output when upgrading as shown with the Xpeng P7 EV from the Series 11 update. The physics in FH5 also don’t simulate the powerband of EVs and currently they have a linear powerband which gives them horrible launch. Not what EVs in real life are known for.

Xpeng X7 A-Class performance review:
You can do 2 routes for A-Class either rally tires or street tires with max weight reduction with street tires having the lv1 upgrade. There are other options like off-road tires and drag tires but I generally don’t like how those tires feel in general.
tl’dr, The Xpeng P7 is very very slow in A-Class with no redeeming qualities. Combined with a horrible launch where the game simulates EVs with ICE powerband in a very tall gear.
